Official Rules

1. Purchase: No purchase necessary to enter. A purchase will not improve chances of winning. 2. Promotion Duration: Promotion begins at 12:01 A.M. Pacific Standard Time (PST) on January 10, 2009 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (PST) on May 15, 2009, when all entries must be received. 3. How to Enter: To enter, complete and submit electronically the online entry form at www.DiscoveryGirls.com. One entry per person only. Multiple entries for the same e-mail address will be deleted. All entries become the property of the Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. 4. Eligibility: Contest is open to children under the age of 13 who are legal residents of the 50 states of the United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada, except as prohibited by law. Employees of Discovery Girls, Inc., Fundex Games Ltd, and their affiliates, and the families of each are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws apply. 5. Winner Selection: Two-hundred-fifty (250) potential winners will be selected in a random drawing to be conducted on or about May 26, 2009. Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Prizes will be limited to one per household. Winners will be notified by e-mail on or about June 1, 2009. Entry constitutes permission for Discovery Girls, Inc. to provide entrant’s postal address to Fundex Games to provide prize in the event that entrant wins a prize. To obtain a list of winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope after June 20, 2009 to Discovery Girls Jump Out, Winners List, P.O. Box 110760, Campbell, CA, 95011. 6. Prizes available and approximate retail value are as follows: Fundex Games Ltd: One-hundred-twenty-five (125) winners will each receive one (1) Hot Ropes Deluxe, Hot Ropes 14 Footer, Hot Ropes Glam, or Hot Ropes Dazzlin jump rope, ARV, $4.99 each. Sixty-three (63) winners will receive one (1) Rewind or one (1) Hot Ropes Skipper, or one (1) Hot Ropes Double Dutch Pro jump rope, ARV $8.99 each. Sixty-two (62) winners will receive one (1) Hot Ropes Jump Rope Jam jump rope, ARV $12.99 each. Income and other taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of winner. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed above. No cash redemption, substitution, or transfer of prize is allowed except by Sponsors, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted. 7. General Conditions: Sweepstakes entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules. The laws of the United States govern this Sweepstakes. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Sponsors are not responsible for errors in the administration or fulfillment of this sweepstakes, including without limitation mechanical, human, distribution, or production errors, and may modify or cancel this promotion based upon such error at its sole discretion without liability. Winner will be notified by e-mail. Return of the prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If a winner is unreachable after 48 hours, or if winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner may be selected at random from all remaining eligible entries received. All decisions of the Sponsors are final and binding in all respects. By participating, entrants and winners agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its partners from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, or participation in sweepstakes/contest, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any sweepstakes/contest-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. 8. Internet: If for any reason this sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsors reserve the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes. The Sponsors assume no responsibility for lost, late, damaged, illegible, incorrect, misdirected, or incompletely received entries, or for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsors are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsors on account of technical problems, human error, or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this sweepstakes. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the operation of the sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the sponsors reserve the right to seek damages or other remedies from any such persons responsible for the attempt to the fullest extent permitted by law. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant based on an e-mail address, the entrant will be declared to be the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the sweepstakes.
