DG Culinary Adventures: Orange Glazed Carrots

Makes 4 servings


  • 1 pound baby carrots
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch salt


  1. Place carrots in a shallow saucepan, and cover with water.
  2. Boil until almost tender.
  3. Drain, and return carrots to pan.
  4. Pour orange juice over carrots, and mix well.
  5. Simmer over medium heat for about 5-9 minutes until some of the juice is reduced and carrots are tender.
  6. Stir in brown sugar, butter, and salt. Heat until butter and sugar melt.
